Xat
What is Xat?
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) stands as a prominent national-level entrance exam for admission to some of the leading management institutes in India. Conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT is renowned for its rigorous evaluation process, assessing candidates on their aptitude and decision-making skills. The exam usually comprises four sections: Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge.
One distinctive feature of XAT is its essay writing section, which sets it apart from other management entrance exams. This section not only gauges the candidates’ writing abilities but also tests their analytical and critical thinking skills. XAT is accepted by a diverse range of prestigious business schools, making it a crucial gateway for aspirants seeking admission to MBA and PGDM programs.
